World Population Day (11th July)

The Population today nearing 7.5 Billion globally. Experts predicted that by 2030 that number will rise to 8.5 billion. it is our moral responsibility to think about this social issue. In context of Pakistan according to to United Nations 2025 Pakistan’s Population will have grown to over 380 million making it the 3rd largest country after India and china. One third of our population lives below the poverty line. So our population growth also impact poverty because poorer families are generally the ones with more children, and so suffers the burden of more people to provide for with fewer resources to do so.  As result large portion of the population lives without basic necessities such as access to sanitation, safe drinking water, education and health care. If the Population increase these problems will become even more severe.

What we can do?

The only way we can help is to raise awareness of the dangers associated very large Population and to tell people to plan their families  to ensure that each child need can be fully met.
