Green Meadow Foundation in collaboration with #KIU Ghizer campus#NAVEED TOURIST INN Gilgit#KHUSHHALI Micro Finance Bank Gilgit branch#THE SMART SCHOOL Gilgit campus#AIR FOUNDATION SCHOOLS SYSTEM Gilgit-campus#BAM- E- DUNYA Chatorkhand Ghizer Ishkoman Valley#Himat Impact Management (Pvt) Ltd and#IDEA GRAPHICs Gilgit launched BAG FOR CAUSE (SAY NO TO PLASTIC BAGS ) awareness campaign to beat plastic pollution and to support/promote cause of clean and green Gilgit-Baltistan.
The bag was introduce among the general public on dated 30th August 2019 at KIU Ghizer Campus on the ocean of 1st international conference on emerging technologies in educational research and practices (IC-ETERP). Environment friendly bags were presented to worthy Vice Chancellor (Engr. Prof. Attaullah Shah), Honourable Fida Khan (Minister Tourism), Ghulam Muhammad Adv- CM (food) Vice Chancellor Baltistan University Skardu (Prof. Dr. Muhamamd Naeem Khan), Raja Jahanzeb (MNA), Dr. Sabit Rahim (Focal Person KIU), Media Representatives, event participants, students, youth and the delegates who came across the world. During the bag distribution participants were also mobilize for this campaign to creating awareness the use of plastics is ever increasing in Pakistan and it poses a serious threat to marine life and the environment and widely spread the campaign’s message “ SAY NO TO PLASTIC if you can’t reuse it, refuse it”.
